As you probably know, we built and installed the first Big Bench in Slovenia. It overlooks the Vipava Valley and is located a few hundreds meters from the castle. It's the Big Bench #325 as it's been offically approved as part of the Big Bench Community Project!
Thanks to this project, the valley will gain more popularity as the Big Bench Project is a trend phenomenon. We are collecting donations for the upkeeping of the Big Bench and preserve it for all of you who want to have a walk there, climb on it and enjoy a few minutes of mindfulness.

Evgen Mayer, the last owner of Lože Castle until the Second World Was was passionate about his woodland, gardens and vineyards. We would love to collect all the means to restore overgrown woodlands and check for trees vulnerable to storm damage, as a first step to recover and reverse years of decline.

Lože Castle and its connected buildings are in need of a full restoration and repair of doors and windows to prevent, as they were destroyed by vandals to get in the building and take away architectural and decorative elements, staircases, floor tiles.
